The National Research-Development Institute for Marine Geology and Geoecology - GeoEcoMar is the national pole of excellence in geological, geophysical and geoecological research and advice on marine, coastal and inland waters, being a reference center for the study of Marine and Earth Sciences. The National Research - Development Institute for Earth Physics carries out scientific research and technological development activities in the field of Earth Physics, in general, and seismology in particular. The National Institute for Materials Physics ( NIMP) Bucharest area of interest is in fundamental and applied research and development, with particular emphasis in the fields of solid state physics and materials research.
