The National Institute of Research and Development in Mechatronics and Measurement Technique (INCDMTM) features as its main activity field both scientific (basic and applied) research and scientific development in the area of precision mechanics and mechatronics. Also, the work of INCDMTM is focused in developing and optimizing measurement techniques. The efforts of the researchers with INCDMTM aim at developing various mechatronic (conventional and unconventional) products and technologies.

ECOIND is a national research and development institute, with a global approach to all environmental aspects in the field of industrial ecology, recognized at national level and with an increasingly active presence in international partnerships. The Institute is involved in developing / expanding new research directions to cover a wide range of activities related to industrial ecology, in the fields of: molecular biology, genetics and electron microscopy; biological analyzes and ecotoxicological studies; evaluation of indoor air quality, odor level by dynamic olfactometry; complete characterization of industrial waste and sludge - up-to-date areas that are ignored or not addressed at all at national level, but in line with European and international environmental research trends.

The purpose of INCDMRR is to carry out research, technological development and engineering activities in the field of metals and radioactive resources, as well as engineering and consulting activities to solve the problems faced by industrial activities in the field of recovery and processing of uranium resources and other metal, radioactive, rare and precious ores.
