Libra Film is an independent film/ TV production company founded by Tudor Giurgiu in 1994. Between 2000 and 2019, Libra Film produced around 40 films, with a focus on international co-productions. Over the years, the films were presented in the official selection of international festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Toronto, Locarno, Karlovy Vary, San Sebastian, TIFF and Sarajevo, receiving various awards. Libra Film is supported by the Creative Europe programme – MEDIA of the European Union for its slate of projects including features and documentaries.

For 24 years here, at Castel Film Studios, we have made films for audiences around the world to enjoy. As a service provider we have already generated over 250 international feature films, more than 1000 hours of foreign and domestic television content, more than 800 commercials. Icon films was founded in the early months of 2013, by the creative production team behind Domino Productions. The company is enthusiastically continuing to provide production services for the same distinguished clients such as: Academy Films, MJZ, Anonymous Content, Blink, Stink TV, RSA, Markenfilm, Wanda Productions, Quad, Smuggler, Skunk, Tony Petersen Films, etc. Icon has recently expanded into production services for film and television via it’s partnership with Stillking Films.
