Research institution par excellence, with a history of almost 60 years, ICSU "Gheorghe Şincai", has as main mission the research of the history of Transylvanian civilization and culture in relation to the specific features of the area, as a space of ethnic and religious interference. It is focused on researching history and philology in the Transilvania area, from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
