ICMET performs type tests for the certification and assessment of the performance of electrical equipment according to the applicable international standards and upon special request from the customers.
ICMET has experience in:

ICMET Craiova has competence in the field of:
• Unconventional technologies using the effect of the vibratory stress relief
• Unconventional technologies using the effect of the compressed - air at supersonic velocity

What we have achieved:

ICMET laboratories are full members of LOVAG - Low Voltage Agreement Group international organization (http://www.icmet.ro/44.pdf) and “APPLICANT” members of STL (Short-circuit Testing Liaison – the international organization of the High Power laboratories) http://stl-liaison.org/web/04_Applicants.php.
ICMET possesses in its patrimony 30 patents applied in the achieved equipment.
ICMET had and has collaborations, within some bilateral agreements, with PTB Braunschweig, TU Karlsruhe, TU Eindhoven, TU Berlin, IPH Berlin, KEMA T&D Testing Services in The Netherlands.
It is the founder of two non-governmental organizations with the registered office at ICMET: ACER Romanian EMC Association; RTS Romanian Thermoelectricity Society.
