National Research and Development Institute for Food Bioresources – IBA Bucharest is a public research entity coordinated by the Ministry of Research and Innovation with research activity in 4 strategical areas: food safety, nutrition, consumer behaviour and food (Bio)technologies. Our mission is to face the societal challenges by elaborating, implementing and disseminating the agri-food research results. Our objective is to raise the quality of life by providing healthy food products and an increasing number of employees within the food chain in order to develop a close relationship with society and the food related companies. In our vision, promoting an healthy way of living and an healthy nutrition can be done by developing high quality, safe and sustainable food products.
