The National Institute for Research & Development in Chemistry and Petrochemistry – ICECHIM Bucharest has as object of activity scientific research and technological development in the field of chemical and petrochemical industry.

The Astronomical Institute of the Romanian Academy is conducting research activities in the following domains: Astronomy, Astrophysics, Solar Physics, Celestial Mechanics, History of Astronomy.
